No need to carve out a hole to fit in, just snap it on the side or corner. The magnet would be like the iPhone magsafe/apple pencil. So hear me out, Apple designs a charger that magnetically attaches in the corner (maybe it even encapsulates/covers the corner. I love how the HP spectre charger plugs into the corner at a 45* angle. Macbook becomes so popular that every company (including gaming companies) optimizes their apps for Apple ARM silicon. Plus, with a redesign and optimized internals, I think it's possible. I like the nice rounded number of "all day battery life" = 24hrs. 24hr battery life! Soft board battery technology allows bigger batteries in smaller form factors (rumored to be used in the iPhone 13).

Optimized internal thermals - fan, if necessary (new MBP fan seems extremely quiet) to prevent throttling. 16gb+ Ram - Looks like Apple Silicon optimizes RAM efficiency, so I think this is sufficient for everything. And idk, maybe six power cores and six efficiency cores? I've also had the yoga pen, which has had major issues from day one in connection. I've used a Lenovo yoga 730 for the last year, and I can count on my hand the number of times I've used the touchscreen/360* hinge.

Could be 360* but seems kind of useless unless a touchscreen. 180* hinge (Meaning that the macbook screen can lay completely flat (mainly just for apple pencil purposes). I think this creates the perfect blend between MacOS and iPadOS/IOS optimization. I think allowing Apple Pencil support, while avoiding a touch screen, would be perfect. Plus, it would fit extremely smoothly with the already rounded corners of the macbook unibody. Rounded screen corners! I think that would look sick. Not just instant-on (Thanks Craig Federighi), but instant-unlock. Then, my macbook would automatically unlock as soon as I opened it to my face. Speaking of the notch, I want Face ID AND Touch ID cause why not? Face ID for when you don't have to wear a mask. Thinner bezels! Gimme the thinnest bezels ever! Honestly, I think an iPhone-esque notch would be flipping sweet on a macbook if it meant more screen and thinner bezels. I think a 14 in" screen in the 13in" unibody (maybe a smidge bigger) is my ideal. 14 inch screen (12-13in" are just slightly too small for me because I like to game and watch movies, but I travel a lot, so 16in" is too big). I do want some type of redesign, mainly because I know that means the internal structure will be newly optimized for Apple Silicon. Macbook air unibody design (I think the ergonomics are more comfortable because of the slope). My Ideal Macbook (read the bold for the specific feature if you don't want to read why :): Obviously, my ideal would be spec'd out to the max, but I'm talking more feature wise along with some of the basic specs. What's your ideal macbook? What features would you add or subtract? I saw a post/comment a few days back about a guy keeping track of his ideal macbook design.
